Lotus Emira I4 First Edition and Base Editions: Australian Pricing

Customer demand for the Lotus Emira V6 First Edition has exceeded expectations, with the entire Australian allocation of 120 cars sold out.  Demand for the I4 First Edition
has been equally strong with 70% of the anticipated Australian allocation already deposited.

The Lotus Emira I4 is powered by a bespoke version of AMG’s M139 direct injection engine.  It is manufactured specifically for the Lotus Emira, and includes hardware changes to aid mid-mounted integration and new software to give it a true Lotus character.  It is the world’s most powerful 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine homologated for road use (up to 208bhp/litre), widely regarded as the world’s best i4 unit and has an enviable reputation for reliability.

Production of Australian Emira I4 First Edition is scheduled to start Q1 (Jan-Mar) 2023 for deliveries to commence in Q2 (Apr-Jun) 2023.  The MSRP for the I4 First Edition in Australia is $177,990.  As with the V6 First Edition, the I4 First Edition will come with a very high standard specification, including all three packs (Drivers, Convenience and Design), a 12 way adjustable drivers seat and KEF 10 channel premium audio system. Customers will also be able to select the same range of non cost and additional cost options that were available on the V6 First Edition.

The entry level (base edition) cars will come into market at the following MSRP’s:
− I4 (DCT) $155,990
− V6 (Manual) $169,990
− V6 (Automatic) $173,990

Full options lists and pricing for the base edition cars are due to be released Q3 2022.  An Emira V6 display car will be arriving into Australia in May and is expected to remain in country for the month.
